Welcome address presented by Ag. Rector, of Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo Engr. M.A Okandeji on the occasion of Accreditation exercise carried out between November 14, and 18, 2022.
PROTOCOL
On behalf of Board of Trustees, Government council, Management, staff and students of Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo, I welcome you all to our institution for this long expected accreditation exercise, to the glory of God.
We thank Almighty GOD/Allah for the journey mercies granted to you all, our august visitors and partners in progress.
Igbajo polytechnic, Igbajo, Osun State, Nigeria is the first community owned polytechnic in Nigeria. It was established in the year 2004. It is duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, approved and licensed by the Federal Ministry of Education and duly recognized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). It currently has 13 approved programmes by National Board for Technical Education. Our qualified HND graduates have been participating in NYSC scheme since 2015.
Today, another history is being made by your participation in this remarkable exercise, during which 5 out of 13 existing programmes would be re- accredited, and another 5 proposed programmes would be considered for approval with your anticipated cooperation.
It is pertinent to emphasize that Igbajo community cherishes Education so much, and her indigenes have been working tooth and nail to support us in all ramifications, and they are ready to do more with your assistance to develop this institution, which is our imperishable legacy.
We hope you would extend your hand of fellowship to us, so that at the end of this exercise, the efforts of our forefathers would have been rewarded positively with your kind consideration and required support.
Once again, you are cheerfully welcome, and we hope you would enjoy the cool environment of Igbajo, the citadel of the brave.
